Mother trailed by policeman and warned by council for telling off son at checkout
This really brings home that we are now living in a police state.
"What kind of society allows police, council officials and other busy-bodies to dictate how parents should raise their children? This is not well-meaning concern for child welfare, it is naked authoritarianism".
"Instead of intimidating respectable mothers in their own homes, they should concentrate on identifying and stopping genuine child abusers. The appalling cases of Victoria Climbie and Baby P show they still have much work to do".
